Supplemental Benefits

Overview

As part of your Fisher Investments Europe benefits package, you have the opportunity to take advantage of additional programmes that save you money while supporting your wellbeing.

CycleScheme Programme

Cycling to work is good for your health and your wallet! As an employee of Fisher Investments Europe, you are eligible to participate in our CycleScheme programme if you prefer to cycle instead of commuting by car, bus or tube. You can receive a loan of up to £1,000, increasing to a maximum of £3,000 after 6 months' tenure.* Fisher Investments Europe will pay for the cost of the bike and equipment up front, and you’ll make repayments through deductions over 12 months from your gross pay ― this means savings on tax and NI!

With CycleScheme, you’ll have a choice of over 2,000 retailers, both online and in-store, so you’ll be sure to find a bike that works for you.

*You’ll receive a reminder once you’ve been with the Company for 6 months. The initial CycleScheme loans may be up to £3,000 total in a 12-month period.

    • Get a written quote for your bike and safety equipment.
    • Submit this quote via the CycleScheme portal.
    • The Benefits team will review your application, and then CycleScheme will send you a certificate.
    • Use the certificate to purchase your new bike!
    • Please note, this process can take two to three weeks.
  • Visit the CycleScheme portal for more information, or contact BenefitsServices@fi.com.

Trainline

A season ticket loan with Trainline is a great way to save money on the cost of your commute. Fisher Investments Europe purchases the ticket up front and you will make monthly repayments over 10 months from your net salary. This means you get 12 months of travel for roughly the cost of 10 monthly tickets!

Who is eligible?

In order to be eligible for this benefit, you need to have 6 months' tenure with Fisher Investments Europe. These loans are capped at Β£10k and this benefit cannot be used for travel exclusively between the London Zones (the tube). You must travel to/from outside of London or use the rail/overground as your start or destination.

Crispin Speers Travel Insurance

Travel insurance provides coverage for worldwide business and leisure travel for you and your qualified dependants, including medical expense insurance, medical emergency assistance and insurance for lost or stolen property. Winter sports coverage is also included, up to 17 days. Specific benefits are outlined in this coverage schedule.

Travel insurance is a voluntary benefit offered to all Fisher Investments Europe employees. If you opt in to this plan, you pay for it through monthly deductions from your net pay, which means there are no tax implications.

Unlike our other plans, your partner does not need to be your legal partner or spouse. However, you must be able to show that you have lived together for at least 6 months prior to enrolment in the insurance. You are responsible for the annual membership cost for yourself and your dependants per plan year (1 April – 31 March). This is an employee-funded benefit and therefore no tax will be applicable.

When can you opt in?
Anytime! Your plan will come into effect the first of the following month of enrolment. Still have questions? Review these FAQs.
