Overview
As part of our proactive approach to supporting your health, Fisher Investments Europe offers you and your qualified dependants one Fisher-funded* preventative health assessment per plan year, 1 April โ 31 March.
The Bupa Be.Ahead and Be.Ready Health Assessments are comprehensive health and wellbeing assessments that involve lifestyle, medical and non-invasive tests to help you learn more about your current health status. You will also be asked to complete a detailed questionnaire before your visit to help identify any factors influencing your health and wellbeing. In addition, the assessment looks into any potential issues or health concerns. If necessary, Bupaโs doctors can refer you to the relevant health experts for further examination or treatment. As a reminder, Bupa is also the provider of our private medical insurance.
Assessments available:
*Fisher will cover the cost of an annual exam for you and your qualified dependants. There are no tax implications for your personal health assessment; however, you will be responsible for paying taxes on the cost of your dependantsโ assessments, which HMRC regards as a benefit-in-kind.

What to expect
These tests are very comprehensive and typically take 3 hours each, so please ensure you are factoring that time in when you are booking an assessment.
Your plan has been designed to help you take control of your health. You will spend time with Bupaโs trusted experts who will help you understand any potential risks by carrying out a series of core tests. Together, you will also set up a personalised action plan so you feel ready to make positive changes. After your appointment, you will have access to 365 days of support to keep you motivated. That way you can go on to smash your goals, whatever they are.
Getting the most out of your assessment
To get the most out of your assessment, you should avoid eating a heavy meal and drinking caffeine before the assessment. Therefore, it may make sense to book a morning appointment. Learn more about the Bupa Health Assessments and what to expect.

How to book an assessment
To book your assessment, simply book online or e-mail healthassessmentsbookings@bupa.com or call 0333 920 1013 and reference Fisher Investments Europe and your full name. You have one assessment to use per plan year. There is a fitness portion to this assessment. If you do not wish to take part, please be sure to notify Bupa of this when booking.
Important Information - Cancellation policy
If you or your dependant needs to cancel or rearrange your assessment, please notify Bupa at least five working days beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged ยฃ75 to cover the cost of preparing your tests. If you provide less than 24 hoursโ notice of cancellation, or you do not turn up, you will be personally charged the full price of the assessment. Fisher will not be responsible for this cost.
Getting your results
You will receive most of your test results on the day. Some tests, such as additional blood tests, mammograms, and screening for cervical and prostate cancer, need to be sent away to a laboratory or await a radiology report. You will get those results within two weeks of your tests. All results will be discussed in detail with you and if further testing is needed the doctor can issue an onward referral. You will have the chance to discuss your results with the health advisor and doctor so can ask questions as needed. You can then access your results anytime via the Bupa Be.Me app or through your Be.Me account here be-me.bupa.co.uk/LoginRegister.
