Gym Subsidy
Fisher Investments Europe pays the annual gym membership cost on your behalf up front and you will pay the loan back each month by payroll deductions from your net pay less the up to £50.00 per month subsidy that Fisher Investments Europe pays for you. HMRC has classified this benefit as a “benefit-in-kind," meaning you will pay taxes on the subsidy amount.
Health Assessments – Bupa
Fisher pays the annual membership cost (premium) for you and your qualified dependants.
- For your personal health assessment there are no tax implications.
- HMRC requires us to report the annual assessment(s) attended by your qualified dependant(s) as a “benefit-in-kind." You’ll be responsible for paying taxes on the cost of the assessment.
- Fisher will pay for one assessment for you and your qualified dependants per plan year. (1 April – 31 March)
